This October marks the 100th Anniversary of the Staten Island Ferry. The opening of brand-new terminals at the Whitehall, Manhattan and St. George, Staten Island sides of the ferry route; three state-of-the-art new ferry boats, a new information center in the Whitehall Terminal and the launch of a new cell phone walking tour coincide with the centennial celebration.
