Je suis en train de chercher soit un appart, soit une coloc, comme vous le savez. Je vais vous faire partager cette anecdote...
Sur craiglist, super site, j'ai poste une anonce.
Une certaine Susan m' a repondu:
"The pic of the apartment is attached on the file of these message. My Father in-law is the owner of the apartment, he is an America citizen , he just traveled early last month to the western coast of africa on a business trip and he will be staying there for a very long time and will only come back to visit the apartment occasionally .The rent will cost you $1300/month,a part payment of $1000 will be paid to my Attorney so that the apartment will be secured for you and all relevant document of the apartment will be prepare so that when come you just move into the apartment without any problem. The balance will be paid at your convinent time,you may be the only one that will stay in the apartment .The apartment has all the necessary amenities you will need (internet service, washing machine and so on ).The Attorney will need 100% of the part payment so that the apartment will be secured as soon as possible for you. You are the first to apply for the apartment and my Father in-law has just instructed me to give the apartment out to you and i will like to tell you that you have to act fast in paying the part payment so that the apartment can be secure for you.I may wait for you at the airport if you will be coming through that way or we meet in convinent place so that we come to view the apartment. The apartment is located in Hudson street ,2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop,2 minute walk to the nearest metro station (1,9,b,d,a trains ),12 kms to the New York airport in the city of New York and the part payment will made to the Attorney as soon as possible, so that all the necessary document will be process as soon as possible .I will need your full name ,contact address and phone that we will use in the preparation of the document ,i await you response asap.thanks

TERMS AND CONDITION IN RENTING MY APARTMENT FOR YOU ARE AS FOLLOWS
RESERVATION PAYMENT:
The apartment we need a part payment so that you can secure the apartment for you .
Payments may be made through Western Union Money Transfer, which has locations in over 190 countries.
As is our policy, your Part payment is refundable if you cancel or modify the dates of your reservation. My father in-law will not be held responsible for cancellations or modifications of the dates for ANY REASON.
RENTAL AGREEMENT PAYMENT:
At the day of arrival, we will meet you at the apartment to sign the rental contract agreement. At that moment you may pay the remaining money or leaving whne you are leaving . All these payments are to be made in CASH. Please be sure to have with you the necessary funds in cash before your arrive at the apartment.
Payments for accommodation are refundable. If you decide to shorten the length of your stay, previously made payments will refunded.
SECURITY DEPOSIT:
When you sign the rental agreement you will also sign a copy of the inventory. The guest will provide a part payment that is kept on file until the guest's departure. The part payment will be substracted from the monthly so you will have to pay the balance when you are leaving ,you have make sure that there are no damages and the apartment is left in good condition. Prior to your departure we will schedule a time to meet at the apartment to confirm the apartment's condition.
DISCLAIMER:
We have the right to decide not to allow tenants into their properties. In the event that this occurs, we will make alternative arrangements for you. The use of the property by more than the number of allowed persons will result in the immediate termination of the rental agreement

et la c'est le drame.Je lui repond que j'ai une amie sur place prete a le visiter, et a lui payé l'avance apres avoir recuperé les clés....et plus de reponse.....susan a disparue....et j'ai lu ca sur craiglist:
