Premier mail:
Dear David,
Thank you for your email. The fountain is in Central Park. As you see on this
webpage, Die Hard with a Vengenance is listed as being filmed in Central Park.
http://www.centralparknyc.org/thenandnow/movies.
You may want to contact the Central Park Conservancy to double check the
location. Here is their contact information.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Best Regards,
Second mail:
David,
I asked a friend of mine and he said the movie was shot in Vancouver so the
fountain is probably there. The fountain in the scene was supposed to be
Tompkins Square Park but it's not there in real life.

Ave. A & 7th St., Tompkins Square Park: In this park there was a fountain (not
there in real life) where John and Zeus struggled to solve a riddle in order to
prevent the detonation of a bomb.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
A suivre...
David.
